Our most comprehensive and most popular mountain family photography session choice for families visiting Rocky Mountain National Park are our Classic Mountain Vacation Family Photography Sessions. Classic sessions feature a variety of beautiful Rocky Mountain backgrounds and include a combination of fun, spontaneous shots of your family mixed with timeless, classic poses. With rates beginning at $525, Classic sessions feature multiple poses, backgrounds, and groupings and can be shot at one or more locations. Classic mountain vacation family photography sessions are recommended for groups of up to twenty five and often last up to 90 minutes including meet, travel, and session times. Classic Mountain Vacation Family Photography Sessions are great for family members of all ages since they are photographed in easy to access locations in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.  Join us in one of our preferred mountain photography spots or choose to have one of our experienced Estes Park Photographers meet you at your mountain home or favorite location. Most Classic Mountain Vacation Family Photography sessions are photographed in mid morning and early evening  but can be shot effectively at other times of day if clouds are present, we photograph the session in the shade, or if a sunny look is desired. Mini sessions offer the same beautiful Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park locations and classic and spontaneous styles as or comprehensive Classic sessions, but do so at a fraction of the time and cost. Mini Sessions are photographed throughout much of the day which can include both sunny or shaded conditions. Mini Sessions typically features beautiful areas of Estes Park near the famous Stanley Hotel and Black Canyon Creek but on some occasions are shot inside of Rocky Mountain National Park. Mini sessions are generally take about 30 - 45 minutes total including meet and travel times with approximately 15 - 20 minutes of that time being in front of the camera. Mini sessions feature multiple poses and groupings shot at a single amazing location. Classic Mountain Family Photography Mini Sessions include 12 edited digital and are considered best for groups of 10 and fewer and families with cooperative children and family members with with good mobility. Adventure sessions are shot in incredible locations inside of Rocky Mountain National Park and  feature some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable as the backdrop for pictures. Adventure Mountain Vacation Family Sessions include up to three hours of hiking and shooting and only fit groups with excellent mobility and the ability to walk up to a mile at elevation. Adventure Mountain Family Photography Sessions are typically shot in the evening inside of Rocky Mountain National Park is iconic locations such as The Alluvial Fan, Dream Lake, Gem Lake, Beirstadt Lake, Rock Cut, Bear Lake, Sprague Lake, and more. Some of the locations our Adventure Sessions take us to are only best for small, very fit groups of 6 or fewer while other Adventure Sessions can accommodate groups as large as twenty. No matter the number in your Adventure Mountain Vacation Family Photography Session, you will benefit from multiple amazing backgrounds, locations, groupings, and poses. During a typical Mountain Vacation Family Photography Session our Estes Park photography team member will take several hundred total photos. Each photograph taken is done so in a format called "RAW". According to Adobe, the maker of top grade professional editing software Lightroom and Photoshop, "a RAW file is lossless, meaning it captures uncompressed data from your camera sensor. Sometimes referred to as a digital negative, you can think of a RAW file as the raw “ingredients” of a photo that will need to be processed in order to bring out the picture’s full potential. Most professional photographers shoot in RAW because it gives them more information to work with in the post-processing phase." The Estes Park Family Photographers team believe the advantage of shooting in RAW is we get the opportunity to access the most information possible in order create the best possible images for our clients. Once your session is done and you go back to your relaxing vacation vibe the real work begins for the team at Estes Park Family Photographers. We begin by importing all of the raw photos taken and begin the painstaking process of selecting the best of the best to undergo cropping, retouching, and editing. Our days long editing process is truly a labor of love. We take the time to touch each and every raw photo to ensure we deliver the best quality photographs possible.

​​We enhance each photo by adjusting standard professional elements such as color, contrast, and highlights. Whenever possible, we eliminate unwanted background objects such as poles, debris, and even people. We also work to reduce or remove hair fly-aways, remove flash bulbs from glasses, lessen obvious pimples and blemishes, reduce shine, reduce perspiration and water spots, and reduce dark under eye circles if possible. Finally, we hand-pick certain images and often add special artistic touches to chosen poses such as black and white, sepia, watercolor, and other special effects. While we attempt to get the photos edited and into your gallery as quickly as possible, the process often takes up to two weeks to be completed.

Once your photos are ready for you to enjoy we will send you an email with a link to your photo gallery. From your password protected gallery you can share your photos with friends and family, post directly to Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest, download your images to your computer, and even purchase prints from our professional lab at half price. Cancellation Policy: -If you must cancel your reservation and we are notified at least 14 days prior to your scheduled session date, we, will refund your payment less 5% of any deposit paid. If you cancel your reservation less than 14 days from your scheduled session date (but more than 72 hours before your scheduled session) you will receive a refund less 10% of any paid deposit. If you cancel for any reason inside of 72 hours prior to your scheduled session the credit card on file will be charged for the full amount of the session and no refund will be given. All sessions booked inside of 72 hours are final and non-refundable/non-transferable. Orange Beach Family Photography LLC cannot be held responsible for and will not issue refunds for personal inconveniences, health related issues including COVID 19, family emergencies, injuries, winter road conditions, flight delays/cancellations, public transportation delays or traffic jams/accidents. When you book your session we reserve a specific time for your group and instantly begin turning away all other potential guests for that session date and time. Clients will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. **NO SHOWS or cancellations within 72 hours will be charged the entire price of the session booked.**
